"To say this place is amazing would be an understatement. From the grounds to the family activities we had fun from the time we came to the time we left. Everyone is so friendly from the other sites — no awkward conversations to be had, everyone who comes here loves it and seems to come back every year. We hope to be one of those families. I highly recommend booking a cabin. The communal bathrooms/showers are so incredibly clean I was very impressed. Overall it was quiet, peaceful, a great place for families and I can't wait to come back next year."

"If you are looking for a campground with genuine owners, this is for you! My husband and I were camping under a unique situation and everyone could not have been more accommodating! We were selected to adopt an infant in the NICU at a local hospital. They let us drop our trailer and told us to spend time with our son. We had no idea how long we would be staying and they were so understanding and kind. Our 5 year old loved the pool, playground and mini golf! The store is very nice and all the amenities are clean. We can't wait to make camping at Butterfly Campground a regular trip for us!"

"We just stayed in a deluxe cabin last week and we were very happy with the accommodations. The cabin was clean and nicely set up. The grounds and amenities are well kept. The owners and staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. The location was very convenient for us. We have stayed here years ago and was happy then and happy now. I would highly recommend this campground. We'll be back!"

"Stayed here this past weekend, close to home to test out our new rig. All the staff was super helpful with any questions me and my wife had (we had a lot)! The cleanest park I have ever seen! All the campers that stay there are super welcoming and their kids played with ours the entire weekend. Saturday was filled with activities for the kids. Definitely going back here!"

"This place is so cute! The store that you check in at has everything and anything you can possibly think of. Melissa is so helpful and sweet, as well as the other employees. The bathrooms — I have never seen cleaner bathrooms and showers at a park or campground. Even my son was impressed by how clean the showers were. The pool was well kept as well as all the other areas on the grounds. We really enjoyed our time at Butterfly Campground and will definitely be coming back."

"This is a great place to camp for a weekend or for a few weeks. Just 15–20 min. to Six Flags Great Adventure. This campground has a very large, beautiful, clean swimming pool, dunk tank at special times, Karaoke, arcade, wagon rides, and many more activities. Good sized sites — you don't feel like you're on top of each other. This is a family owned campground and the owners are all very easy to talk to and want everyone to have a good time. I would highly recommend checking this place out."

"This was our first visit to Butterfly Camping Resort, and it will not be our last. The campsites are very shady and well maintained. We have a 17 ft trailer, and it was easy to back into our site. The facilities are very clean and they have a fantastic salt water pool. Our grandson came for an overnight, and we couldn't get him out of the pool! The staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely a hidden gem!"

"We had two adults and two kids in a rustic cabin. It met all expectations — AC, two windows, picnic bench outside, fire pit. The pool was really nice with plenty of shade. The owner was extremely accommodating. After hours, she went out of her way to get me diapers when I ran out and was trying to put my baby to bed. My daughter participated in the crafts and had a great time in the arcade. Bring quarters!"

"Not a room, a campsite. Very quiet, nice pool! Spacious area for our campsite, walking trails and bike trail. We will be returning!"

"Rented a cabin for 3 nights. It was really clean and comfortable. This is a great place for a family trip. Loved the saltwater pool — it was very clean. The entire campsite is very well kept. The owners are very friendly. We had a lot of fun fishing as well. I will definitely return."

"We had a great stay! This family run campground is full of friendly staff and seasonals. The bathrooms are super clean! It's very quiet with no rowdy behaviors. The family who owns it are SUPER nice, helpful people who go out of their way to make your camping experience a great one. Saturday activities for the kids and family were very fun and well run. The pool is huge and super clean. This campground also has some nice trails. If you enjoy some good clean family fun this place is for you."

"We just stayed for 5 nights while my daughter was in a dance competition in Tom's River. Everything was clean and well maintained. People were friendly. The dog park was the first one I've been to where I wasn't afraid my dog would slip under the fence. We will definitely be back!"

"This is a great campground with plenty of sites, all nestled inside the woods. We parked our 42' fifth wheel without any problems. We had full hookups at our site with lots of space in between other campers. Very clean bathrooms, showers, and amenities throughout."

"I came to Butterfly for a long weekend and stayed in the cottage cabin, which has a full bathroom, a double bed, twin bunkbeds, and a futon — along with a dining table and TV. The grounds are beautiful and the staff made us feel right at home. Would absolutely recommend for a group getaway."

"Oh man this place is great! We're a family of five (3 kids under 9) and we had a wonderful, relaxing time! The kids loved the playground and that it had sand. The bathrooms were super clean, the staff was friendly and the whole experience was just what we needed."
